Jambo!
After a year of daydreaming I can finally say, "tomorrow is the day!!!" Although as of now, I can say "today." Because of the weather, we have been without power all day and with the help of a generator I am finally able to get on a laptop to write my first blog. I have spent most of my day packing and praying that I don't forget anything I will need. I would love to thank all of the generous friends and families that financially supported my trip to Africa. What a blessing it is to have such amazing people in my life. Keep up with my blogs to hear the incredible things God will do each day.
In Him,
Amy

Amy and Kelsey,
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you two and this trip. It makes me proud to see yall be a part of something as big as this. I'm always happy to see teenagers willing to serve, to get out of their routine and comfort zone, and to be used as a tool by their Creator. We will be praying that God does such amazing things that there will be no doubt his purpose for you and your time with the people of Tanzania.
I trust this trip will impact you as much as it will them.

We are praying for you guys while you are gone, and will be hungry for these blog posts to see how God is moving! :) Love to you all.
ReplyDeleteAmy and Kelsey: I love both you girls so much. You have meant so much to me and my family being a special part of Rachel's life. I will pray for both of you, that others will be blessed through you and come to know their savior. I am so excited to see what God has planned for you and those you will be serving for Him. Love

girls, girls, girls ....what are you doing on the "dark continent" besides having fun and being of service ....i'm glad you are together ... you will make memories that will last a life time ....all is good here ....if I can figure out how to respond to a blog ...already called your mother for instructions so we'll see .... take care of yourselves and keep a low profile (somewhat... unless the Lord instructs otherwise) ...make us proud like you ALWAYS do ...love from the ms gang (PNSCAJSB&B)
